Kat Weigle has stumbled into becoming an accessibility advocate at work and in life. She has a Masters in English Lit and Language with a Graduate Certificate in Rhetoric and Composition. During her graduate studies, she found herself having to advocate for accommodations in the program because they simply didn't exist. As a result, Kat's academic focus turned to minds, bodies, disability, and accessibility in literature, film, and the real world. She taught English at an alternative high school after graduate school, then transitioned to UX Writing (Content Design) during the pandemic lockdown. With the career change came a renewed focus on disability by learning, implementing, and advocating for accessible digital experiences.
