Katie McClarty, PhD, is Vice President of Research & Design at Renaissance where she oversees research, psychometrics, and content development. Previously, she was Chief Assessment Officer at Questar, and Director of the Center for College & Career Success at Pearson. Her expertise includes assessment design, college readiness, standard setting, and gifted and talented education. She is co-editor of the book Preparing Students for College and Careers: Theory, Measurement, and Educational Practice. She earned her doctorate from the University of Texas and her MBA from the University of Minnesota.
