Tori Clark has been working in the accessibility field for over 7 years as a way to bring her lifelong passion for disability rights to the wonderful world of the web. In her role as an accessibility specialist, she has learned that accessibility adoption is easier with empathy and as such has worn many hats over the years, including front-end developer, content creator, web designer, and digital document designer. Raised by two public school teachers, she believes that accessibility education and awareness can be seeded at every stage of the product development lifecycle and loves to see that learning blossom. Her specialities include browser and text-only zoom, custom stylesheets, and high contrast and dark modes, as well as speech recognition (as she’s a native user). When not busting inaccessibility on the web, she can be found in her garden or restoring antique furniture.
