Carye Edelman
Assistive Technology Specialist, Austin ISD
Carye Edelman has been with Austin ISD Special Education for 41 years, 30 of which have been as an Assistive Technology Specialist. She, along with 3 other AT Specialists, serve 129 campuses across the Austin Independent School District. Over her career she has presented at national conferences (ATIA, CSUN, Closing the Gap), local state conferences (TATN, TCEA) and was one of the authors of ATSTAR, an online Assistive Technology curriculum for campus staff and administrators. She is a proud Texan and lifetime Texas Longhorn fan!
