Rachel Gabriel is a Special Education Teacher with the Austin ISD in Austin, Texas. She started her teaching career as a Homebound teacher in the ICU in Mid-Missouri. She currently teaches Life Skills to students ages 16-22 years old with the most significant and severe physical and cognitive disabilities in the school district. She earned her Bachelors in Special Education from University of Missouri-Columbia, her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently working towards her Educational Leadership certification through Texas State. She has partnerships through Texas State, University of Texas-Austin, Texas A&M, St. Edwards University and Region 13 assisting in the molding of future educators. She is also categorized as a Distinguished educator from Austin ISD.
