Amy has 12 years of experience in Digital Accessibility with a focus on access for blind and low vision users. She has worked for The National Federation of the Blind and the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired of San Francisco as an Access Technology Specialist and for the last two and a half years as a Lead QA Engineer, focused on the accessibility of the products at UKG. In these roles she has:
- Created and delivered presentations and curriculum on web, document, and eBook accessibility
- Taught one on one, and group sessions surrounding blindness tools and devices for end users, higher ed professionals, web developers, and the general public.
- Taught the college course "User Experience for Blind Users" At Towson University
