Leslie Schulz
Sr Digital Accessibility Specialist,
I earned my master’s degree in Computer Education from the University of North Texas. I taught web design and computer programming for 20 years, first at the high school level and then at the college level. I became interested in web accessibility and began introducing the concepts to my college web design students. In December of 2018, I earned my CPACC certification, Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies. In November of 2021 I earned my WAS certification, Web Accessibility Specialist. In 2019 I worked for American Foundation for the Blind, performing usability testing. From 2020 until May of 2025, I was employed by Cengage, an educational publisher, as a digital accessibility specialist. I currently perform accessibility testing as a volunteer for the League of Women Voters. I have been a faithful attendee of AccessU since 2019 and very much appreciate all the knowledge I have gained from attending!
