Cornelius Chopin
Accessibility Coordinator, Texas Health and Human Services
Cornelius Chopin began his career as an engineer at Texas Instruments and Motorola over a 19-year span. After leaving Motorola, he began teaching at ITT Technical Institute in Austin, Texas and freelance for several major training companies. He obtained an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) credential in Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop as only one of seven ACI in Texas. He is currently an Accessibility Coordinator at the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). He has been a speaker for the Austin Adobe User Group (AAUG) for over 15 years and have presented on topics from accessibility to advanced programming for the web, multimedia and mobile. He enjoys learning new technologies and teaching them to others. He recently completed his Master degree in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the Missouri University with a 4.0 average.
