Kimberly Cannon is the lead Assistive Technology Program Specialist for the Civil Rights Office and a fervent advocate for accessible design and functional usability. She exudes a deep passion for equality, equitable treatment, diversity, and inclusion. Her career work involves WCAG compliance and 15+ years of experience working with state and federal agency partners. Her academic background includes two master’s degrees entrenched in education and cultural development. She is resolute that accessibility must be practical in application to be effective. This belief drives her dedication as she leads accessibility testing with her meritorious manager, Michael Moore. In summary, Kimberly believes the principle of equitable use brings the lion’s share of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) wealth within reach when the User Interface (UI) design meets the need of the User Experience (UX).
