Wayne Dick has worked to improve accessibility for people with low vision since 1990. He is developing assistive technology that will improve reading access on the Web. He is an active member of the Low Vision Task Force of the W3C and worked on the success criteria for people with low vision.
Prior to his work with Knowbility, Dr. Dick was a professor of Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach. He was the first academic technology coordinator of the Accessible Technology Initiative at the California State University System.
