Crystal Baker studied psychology and communications at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and proceeded to work for the State of Texas in their health and human services enterprise. While there, she continued her studies in human services at St. Edward’s University. Passionate about helping others, she was gifted a job duty no one else wanted, an electronic and information resources accessibility coordinator. With encouragement from local peers in the Austin accessibility industry, Crystal became a leader in this field and was snatched up by AT&T’s Corporate Compliance Office, as an accessibility solutions engineer. In her free time, Crystal enjoys running races with her husband and two sons. She also mentors colleagues studying for the project management certification exam and hosts 15-minute office yoga sessions for her coworkers twice a week. Grateful for an amazing group of colleagues and friends, Crystal makes every effort to give back to her community through volunteering with several local non-profits and sharing her knowledge of accessibility.
