Knowbility is pleased to welcome our partners from IAAP to offer an onsite exam site for the following certifications:

  • Accessible Document Specialist (ADS)
  • Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
  • Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS)

IAAP is also offering the opportunity to receive Continuing Accessibility Education Credits (CAEC). One hour of instruction at AccessU equals one CAEC.

Important exam information:

Applications close on May 2, 2023 at 5pm EST. All exam payments are due by May 2, 2023. Exams are only available to onsite AccessU attendees.

For 2023, IAAP implemented an additional screening application process for the WAS exams. You will fill out the screening application to determine your eligibility for the WAS Certification. If you are approved as a WAS Candidate for the May 9, 2023 WAS exam at the John Slatin AccessU conference, you will receive further instructions by email.

ADS and CPACC exams do not require this additional application.
