This workshop will provide a big-picture overview of implementing an accessibility program across an organization. Starting with the institutional evaluation and providing tools and methodology for each stage, our team will demonstrate what you need to put in place to implement a successful accessibility policy. Knowbility's Accessibility Services Team will guide you through the following process to ensure that you reach and maintain your accessibility goals:

  • Understand accessibility requirements
  • Engage all stakeholders
  • Set explicit goals/standards
  • Assess current status and define success
  • Adopt / create explicit policy
  • Build and integrate teams
  • Test, measure, report
  • Evaluate, repeat
  • Integrate inclusive design into general processes / procedures

Laptops are encouraged as attendees will work together on hands-on exercises throughout the workshop. Note that while this workshop will focus on enterprise organizations, much of the information provided will also pertain to smaller organizations.
