taught by: Rachael Bradley Montgomery
co-presented by: Brian Montgomery

Description

Watch this presentation in the Knowbility Learning Center

As accessibility professionals, we are often asked to teach accessibility in different situations and to a wide variety of students. These discussions may be a quick 5-minute introduction to the topic or an in-depth discussion of coding practices to experienced developers. The first part of this 90-minute session will present a framework to use when you are asked to teach accessibility including examples of different approaches and a list of resources. The second part will be an open discussion with attendees about what works and what does not. Attendees will be invited to share stories about their experiences and resources that they have successfully used. This session is designed to benefit individuals who are new to accessibility and those who have been teaching accessibility for years.
