Jim Thatcher Scholarship Application

Jim Thatcher was an accessibility pioneer and Knowbility mentor. When he died in 2019, his family established an AccessU scholarship in his honor.

Scholarship Application

Your application will be reviewed by a diverse set of reviewers from an AccessU community advisory who have experience with Knowbility.

This scholarship was created to support people who are:

  • seeking a career in accessibility

  • come from diverse backgrounds and abilities

  • involved in some capacity within their community

  • would not otherwise be able to attend the conference.

Please note that the Jim Thatcher Scholarship cannot be awarded to the same individual for two consecutive years. If you feel you meet these criteria please complete the form below. We will notify you about your application status by the end of March.
