THIS CLASS SPANS 2 3-HOUR SESSIONS.

In the morning, learn the basics of PDF tagging while working alongside an instructor with a sample file. In the afternoon, apply your new skills to a real world document of your choosing, with help and support from an instructor.


Description

This course will cover basic built in features of Acrobat Pro including the Accessibility Checker to locate errors, using the Auto Tag Feature, locating and using the Touch up Reading Order Tool. In addition, we will cover semantic markup and proper tagging of links, lists, and images and document properties.


Practical Skills

  • Identifying types of PDFs: tagged, untagged, and scanned.
  • Tagging PDFs: semantic markup and proper tagging of links, lists, and images, and document properties.
  • Testing PDFs for accessibility and remediating errors.
