Ashley Abaragu

Ashley has extensive experience working with nonprofit organizations serving marginalized communities. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin where she also worked on usability research projects and conducted data analyses for social causes. In addition to her work in the community, managing a co-operative living house and hosting conferences, she is trained in conflict resolution and project management. Ashley worked as the Board Chairman for ICC Austin's House of Audre Lorde, where she established The House name and values, and worked with the board to implement a wholly inclusive culture and procedure. Ashley also organized and hosted The University of Texas at Austin's 20th Annual African Conference. Ashley's background of working with varied people from around the world affords her a deep appreciation of the power of inclusivity and the shared social responsibility to create an equitable world for all.
