Explore this "new fad" called "Artificial Intelligence." How can it really help me? Can it work in remediating digital content? What about copyright and digital rights? AI isn't the end all be all, but with some human review, it's just another tool in the toolbox and we're going to explore how to leverage it. We will discuss several examples of how AI can assist including converting image to accessible HTML tables, creating contextual alt text for images, remediating table tagging for accessibility, and maybe a little more. Using your toolbox will enhance accessible digital content -- come and share your experiences as we learn to make digital content more inclusive and user-friendly for all.

Digital Content has become essential for disseminating information and knowledge. However, ensuring a variety of formats are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, remains a challenge. With the recent advancements in AI technologies, there is an opportunity to significantly improve the accessibility of digital content such as ePUBs, PDFs, and websites. Explore how Artificial Intelligence can be trained on the latest accessibility standards to remediate content, such as alternative text, tables, etc. This presentation will provide insights into the potential of AI-assisted remediation and its impact on the future of digital accessibility.
