Jim Thatcher Scholarship Application
Jim Thatcher was an accessibility pioneer and Knowbility mentor. When he died in 2019, his family established an AccessU scholarship in his honor.

Scholarships applications for AccessU 2024 are now closed. If you have lost your job recently or are unemployed and not otherwise able to attend the conference, you can still contact us at accessu@knowbility.org to explore possibilities.
Scholarship Application
Your application will be reviewed by the AccessU advisors.
This scholarship was created by the family of Jim Thatcher to support people who are:
- disabled
- seeking a career in accessibility
- would otherwise not be able to attend the conference
Please note that the Jim Thatcher Scholarship cannot be awarded to the same individual for two consecutive years. If you feel you meet these criteria, please complete the form below.
Three (3) scholarships are still available. The first three qualified applicants can attend at no charge thanks to our partnership with Fable.
