A Note on Virtual Presentations
Every AccessU presenter deserves a full room of engaged learners. In recent years, virtual sessions haven't drawn the attendance their speakers' expertise deserved.
That’s why this year, all sessions will take place in person at St. Edward's. It wasn't an easy decision, because we know it means some of you may not be able to join us, and we'll truly miss you.
To everyone who has presented virtually in the past: thank you. We're so grateful for what you've shared, and we'd love to welcome you to Austin.
Submission Deadline: November 30, 2026
Session Tracks
AccessU 2027 has eight learning tracks, listed below. You won't pick one on the proposal form, so there's no pressure!
Keep them in mind as you plan your session, and our review committee will place your session in the track where it fits best. If we have questions or aren't sure where it belongs, we'll reach out.

Session Formats
AccessU stands out from other conferences because our sessions teach and train participants. Sessions are in-depth, hands-on learning experiences for virtual and onsite attendees.
Pre-Conference Workshop (Tuesday, May 11)
- 6 - 8 Hour Pre-conference workshop - to be presented live from St. Edward's to onsite and virtual attendees
General Sessions (Wednesday, May 12 - Friday, May 14)
- Options
- 180 Minute General Session - presented live from St. Edward's to onsite and virtual attendees, with a minimum of 45 minutes for practice and Q&A
- 90 Minute General Session - presented live from St. Edward's to onsite and virtual attendees, with a minimum of 30 minutes for practice and Q&A
Presenter Tickets
We will notify you by January 15, 2027 if your session is accepted.
- Wait for your notification before you register.
- Starting this year, Presenter tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied to future events.
Please review our Ticket Refund and Transfer Policies for details before registering.
If your session is accepted, you must:
- Register by March 5, 2027, to receive presenter pricing. Refer to the Presenter Ticket Deadlines and Pricing below for details.
- Agree to provide fully accessible materials by April 17, 2027.
New: Presenter Registration - Ticket Deadlines and Pricing
AccessU offers General Conference tickets to accepted presenters. The ticket price depends on your presenter role and when you register. The following table lists presenter roles, registration deadlines, and pricing information.

Friday, March 5, 2027 | General Conference ticket at the $450 pre-sale price. |
| Lead Presenters and Co-presenters who haven’t registered by March 5th. | Saturday, March 6 – Monday, March 15, 2027 |
Complimentary tickets are no longer available. Important: To keep the session on the schedule, presenters who have not registered by March 5th, must buy a General Conference ticket at the early bird rate ($550). |
New: Presenter Cancellation Policy
- On or before March 15, 2027, the presenter may cancel their session without penalty or further obligation.
- After March 15, 2027, if the presenter has purchased a ticket and cancels their session, their purchased ticket is subject to the AccessU Ticket Refund and Transfer Policy.
- After March 15, 2027, sessions without registered presenters will be cancelled by Knowbility so that the final schedule of classes can be completed.
Emergencies happen. If one comes up, email us at accessU@knowbility.org and we'll happily review your situation on a case-by-case basis.
