Call for Proposals
John Slatin AccessU is a skills training conference and is unique in providing the dedicated time for in-depth, hands-on, deep learning opportunities for attendees.

Session Formats
AccessU stands out from other conferences because our sessions teach and train participants. Sessions are in-depth, hands-on learning experiences for virtual and onsite attendees.
- Deep Dive Workshops - pre-conference workshops for intensive training and practice
- 4-6 hours
- Presented live from St. Edward's to onsite and virtual attendees
- General Sessions - designed for participants to learn skills and practice with peers
- Presented live from St. Edward's to onsite and virtual attendees
- Options
- 180-minute live presentation that includes a minimum of 45 minutes for Q&A and practice
- 90-minute live presentation that includes a minimum of 30 minutes for Q&A and practice
- 90-minute pre-recorded presentation (45-60-minute video played during the scheduled session with a minimum of 30 minutes for live Q&A and practice)
Additional Information
- Based on attendee feedback, we are accepting fewer submissions from instructors who are unable to attend AccessU in person in Austin in 2025. While we will accept some remote classes, please be aware that the number will be reduced this year as you indicate your attendance plans in the proposal submission form.
- Acceptance notifications will be sent by or before February 20, 2025.
- When accepted, you must agree to provide fully accessible materials by April 17, 2025, so they can be reviewed and added to the Learning Center for attendees to access prior to sessions.
- Accepted presenters and one co-presenter will receive a free General Ticket to AccessU.
