Session Summary

It takes a dedicated and diverse team of teachers and staff to ensure students can meaningfully engage with multimedia materials and in a variety of learning environments. We want to share our story of struggles and triumphs in creating our ever evolving ecosystem of collaboration to deliver accessible instruction to all students.

  • 1. Understand the benefits of designing learning environments with accessibility in the forefront 2. Understand the importance of a collaborative relationship between assistive technology and Instructional technology to design accessible learning environments. 3. Learn steps that can be taken on a district and campus level to build a collaborative relationship and start putting structures in place to ensure accessibility is considered in all decisions.
