Inclusive Classrooms

taught by: Elizabeth Simister

The idea of inclusive classrooms is not new, but many educators feel challenged by things like the time involved in setting up their class, the tools they need, and an overall awareness of what it means to be inclusive. This lecture will provide educators with the basics of what it means to be inclusive, the perspective of disabled students in a classroom, a checklist of steps that educators can follow when considering curriculum, tools and technology, and resources to learn more on this topic.
