[Accessibility_sig] image question

I am trying to place an image in an xhtml document. The image is displayed
in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera, but it will not display in
Internet Explorer. Are there any formats of jpg images that ie will not
display? Are there any particular formats or resolutions that the iamge
should be converted to?
