[Accessibility_sig] DAISY

Can anyone give me references for a good book/website to serve as an
introduction to the DAISY specifications? I would like, ideally, something
that can be understood by someone  someone who is very familiar with
html/xhtml and css, but has little or no knowledge of xml. I am grateful for
any suggestions.
