[Accessibility_sig] Deadline 3/26 for Google Summer of Code

If you are a college student at the undergraduate or graduate level and have
an interest in software development, web design, etc. You are invited to
apply to attend the Google Summer of Code at Google and you will earn around
$4,500 for the project/internship/fellowship.  The application deadline is
March 26, 2007 and several of the open source projects could benefit from
people with a knowledge of accessibility issues.

Some of the companies you will have the opportunity to work with include:
BBC Research, Creative Commons, Drupal, Internet2, Moodle, Mozilla
Foundation, PHP, The Apache Software Foundation, The Electronic Frontier
Foundation, Wikimedia Foundation, and Wordpress.  Also, on the list of
possible companies are many of the most well known open source projects
including Open Office and the several versions of Linux.
