I believe that Jared Smith at Web AIM has a lot of experience
customizing phpbb for accessibility. He can be contacted through the Web
AIM site or through their forum. He may even be willing to share some of
his configuration files.

| Hi There,
|
| I am hoping you can help me. I am seeking a 508 compliant discussion
| forum solution. Do you have any suggestions? I've been scouring the
| internet and can't believe how limited the options are. Thus far I've
| come across http://www.webgui.org/about which offers much more than
| we will ever need. I've come across a couple of pieces of software
| such as http://www.phpbb.com that are customizable (and possible to
| make 508 compliant) but that is of course assuming that I know php,
| and sadly I do not. So that said.....any suggestions or am I doomed
| to learn php. :)
