[Accessibility_sig] [Fwd: Accessibility question]

It's false for Fire Vox. Having JavaScript on is OK.
I work straight off the Firefox DOM and don't even touch the HTML source 
(well, there is a very minor exception in the case of the CSS3 speech 
module, but that is only because Firefox doesn't currently support that 
in its DOM - once it does, I will be on pure DOM again).
